blast

I was looking in the Sunday paper yesterday and came across another Cabella’s ad. Gosh I love that store. Anyways, they had a picture of what looked like a 9mm. It was on sale for $14.99. It made me look closer for sure! It turned out to be an air gun. My son has been wanting air guns for a while now as some of his friends have them. I guess they are great fun. Okay….trying to be open minded here and remember my past; I used to tot around a little 380 myself. I used to go shooting with friends with real guns and my son loves to shoot 22′s (in scouts) and I am not one of those nuts about Gun Control and as I re-read this I can see I am trying to convince myself but really….its not goin’ to happen folks. We can go shooting together when he is older. Now that would be fun!

I had an air gun when I was very young. But just like the sling shot it seems better when you are in the country.

I bought my kids a couple of air guns but we left them at grandma’s house on the farm.

  2. My BIL has an air gun that my hubby borrows from time to time. He aims at stationary targets like cans but never at wildlife.

BTW, if you have time I tagged you on my blog. Thanks.

Hey Kim, there are so many different kinds of toy weapons these days….but I agree, the country is a better place :)

I like to go to Cabela’s to look at the huge aquarium. Or is that Bass Pro?

Karen, yes! We have those huge aquariums in Cabellas too! They are totally neat. We also have a, well, its kinda like a museum w/live stuffted/dead animals. Sounds, bad, but it looks pretty neat :)
