Wow. Monday already. Of course, I am stuck at work. The good side is that it’s only for a half day. The bad side is that the kiddo is stuck at home with a fever. He came down with it yesterday; it was 102.4. Totally freaked me out as we have no idea where it came from! We were fine all weekend, stayed home mostly and now this. My Dad is with him now as I still dont like to leave him alone. Yeah, I know – I am way over protective. My mom made some chicken soup for him; the lucky kid. I just hope he will get over this soon. It has been a really bad year cold-wise. I have used up all my accured sick time for the year already; 5 days. We have to stay healthy and not get sick anymore ! ! !
