Well I did it. I finally ordered that Table I have been ranting about for weeks now. I comparison shopped at some local stores, surfed on line and talked to a lot of people for their opinions. I have also been looking for bar stools and bar type chairs, since the table is 36″ high, I need new chairs too! I found a good selection of chairs at Contract Furniture Company, an on line company who also sells durable restaurant tables. They have some really nice chairs there that I totaly love. I love new chairs almost as much as I love new tables, ha! I kinda want a wood and iron type chair with a high back. However, since I just purchased the table, I don’t have any money left for new chairs, but that is my next investment. hee hee hee !

I have been looking for a small table for my kitchen similar to what you must be getting. Right now I am using a card table. I like the table with a little more height because I am living in a lower level and it would allow me to sit at the table and see outside better.
When I first got divorced, I also lost my kitchen table. It was one of the first things the X took. Which was good, cuz I hated that table! Anyways, I also lived on a Card Table for many months. Now however, I am finally getting the table I want ! wee hee ! ! !
