Usually on the weekends we take a nice long walk along the canal behind our house. They have finally started cleaning it up, just in time for the duckies ! It is really pretty sad as they drag out shopping carts, lawnmowers, chairs, bikes and tons of other stuff. The water in this canal comes from our snow meltoff and is our water supply people ! ! ! sheesh. ya’d think people would have more brains that to dump stuff in their drinking water. eGads.
It sucks that people litter, but it is AWESOME that people clean it up. Shopping carts! What were those people thinking??
We live in a wonderful city. It would be nice if more people in our area treated it better tho so we would not have to do clean up every Spring!
