Well we took our Cat Rosey into the Vet yesterday last minute. She has been licking herself more than a Cat usually does, and she her aim is way off, and I mean Way Off, when it comes to the litter box! So I called the Vet and they took her right in. It took us a good while to get her into the cat tote tho, she was growling and hissing, and I thought I’d get my face scratched! But we got her in there and she howled all during the car ride.
We update her shots and they said she had some anal inflamation, so they took care of that too! They also said she was, hmm, a tad Fat! 16 pounds of fat to be exact! She could use a weight loss product, but we decided to just cut down her food. Now she can only eat 1/3 a cup of food twice a day and we can no longer just leave the bowl full and sitting out all day.
She has been rather grumpy today, but we are keeping an eye out. It always takes me a few days to get back to normal after a stressfull Doc’s appointment too. We love our kitty SO much !

It’s good the vet said something, did you take her to Hillside? Vets often don’t say anything about an animal’s weight because they are afraid the humans won’t come back again. Bad bad! Weight is important!

Hi Cyn, yes we took her to Hillside, they are very nice. The Doc told us it was good luck to have a polydactyl cat in the family ! and then she said she needed to loose a few lbs, cuz of Diabetes when they get older. I am glad she told us tho, the more info the better!
Hey Leigh, I was suprized when she told us to not leave the food out all day and only give her 1/3 twice a day. but I guess it makes sence. We have not been to the Vet in like over 5 years! maybe you should take your guys in, good luck tho !
I wish dieting was that easy for me. Have someone do my feedings and limit my food. Glad to hear your cat is okay!
