Since it IS the New Year, I really need a New Body! and I am workin’ on it. Its just going slower than anticipated. pooh. I am determined to stick it out tho. According to One Weigh At A Time, I need to give a suggestion, or a weight loss tip. Of course my tip is “Dont eat any Meat” Its not like I am a vegetarian, its just whenever I eat meat I gain. Its that simple. For Me anyways!
I did okay last week, however . . . the weekend came and I gained a pound back after loosing two during the week! So my total loss is 1.2 pounds. My goal, is to loss 2 pounds a week.
I have this love/hate relationship w/the weekends; I love them, but then I eat too much when they arrive!
Ah well. A loss is A Loss!

Well, maybe back off on RED meat, fish is not too bad for you, it has some of the GOOD fats in it. And drink water. I know I say it a lot, but it really DOES help! Grats on the loss! You’re gonna do this!

Thanks Lee, you are right too. It is the Red Meat that gets me. Fish is okay and I do need to eat more of that. and water, more water !

While avoiding the red meat, be sure you’re getting enough protein. And congrats on the 1.2 loss!

I will have to check to see if I gain when I eat meat – I wouldn’t be surprised. We don’t eat it a ton, but definitely a few times a week. 1.2lbs is great. What did you do to lose that much?

way to go on the loss. i still eat meat, but not a lot of it. are you eating lean cuts or substituting maybe with chicken or turkey? i guess bodies are different, so you definitely gotta do what works for you. you should log that down…the things that affect your weight. this is where a good food/exercise journal comes in. anyways, keep up the great work

My son has been complaining that all they eat at school now is Chicken, I guess they are trying to save money, heeheehee.
Ciara, I log every little morsel that enters my mouth. its a total drag some days, but if I dont, I totally forget and then convince myself its okay to have that piece of chocolate!
I agree with you on the meat. I have cut way back on it and it seems to help. Great job on the loss.
