A nice start to a nice weekend. The kiddo and I went out to see some sights around town as the temps are so nice out there! I didnt even need to bundle up, just had my vest on. We went to Gardner Village. A very quaint place with small shops, a nice little creek, ducks and nice decorations.

It was nice to get out in the evening too. We did not purchase anything tho, so I did not have to worry about identity theft protection. The Carmel Apples were $3.99 for one ! I can buy pounds of apples for that price.
Tomorrow we clean the fish tank. Oh. Joy.

I have been eating way too much junk food these days. October is a very hard month, as there is so much chocolate everywhere! However, I have noticed that when I am tired, I eat my Chocolate. I believe it gives me energy to keep going ’till bed time. It would be much easier if I just went to bed on time! but the kiddo and I are having ‘moments’ when it comes to our bedtime. He wants to stay up, I want to turn in early. Yeah, I am the boss, but the prob is that I sleep in a loft, and if I hit the sack early, I can here the TV float up over to my bedroom and I get no sleep. We need to work something out. ugh.

Well the weekend is not getting any better lemme tell ya. Got the kiddo from school and he wants to have a friend sleep over. Fine. Whatever. Usually his friends are pretty nice, but this one . . . . I dont like him. I just got done yelling at him for putting his feet on the table, with his shoes on! Okay, I didnt really yell forsay, but I told him to get his shoes off my table! I dont have that expensive stuff, and I put my feet on the table without shoes, but still, guests are not supposed to do that! and dont give me, well he’s only 14. BS. If my son ever did that at somebody’s house (and I either caught him or found out) he would be in oooo so much trouble.
Plus, he was sitting on our chair at the kitchen table w/my kiddo and they were playing games on the laptop and he started hopping up and down on the chair. The chairs are a metal frame bar stool type chair. I just about lost it then too. Oh, and then he just helps himself in the fridge for a Coke, doesnt ask either the kiddo or me, just gets right in there!
I know not all kids are very polite, and yes, hardly any of them are polite at all, but still! So what happens? I get all upset and eat a sandwich. So much for me trying to loose that belly fat. Plus, I think I am getting sick. Its like 7pm and I am going to bed. eGads, I hope tomorrow is better.

I dont get many Phone Calls. Mostly cuz I email and I just hate talking on the phone! However, I did get a phone call this evening. Scared the bajeebaz outta me too. It was my Boss and he was calling from home. We had a rather stressfull day at work today, meetings, talking to upper management, it was awful. I was going to get me some best eye cream for the stress is causing me wrinkles. but now I am good. It was good news! He called to say that we will not be getting any additional work! you dont know how much of a load that is off my shoulders. Mostly cuz the work was getting dumped on me and one other girl and we are sooo overloaded as it is. But this is good. I can now sleep good tonight *sigh*

We were supposed to get this big ol’ rain storm today with lots of snow in the mountains, but nadda. It must have missed us, cuz it did not rain one drop at our house.
I am ready for winter, ready for snow and ready for the a change. This is a pic of our mountain after it snows, it is so beautiful!

My Jeepster is great in the snow, and I hope those motorcycle people put thier bikes away soon, otherwise they might need a Pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney. Oh, I do need tires so the mechanic says, but I think I am okay till next winter. I will be careful and drive slow. HA! I love winter driving, so not much chance of that! heeheehee

Well my parents 6 week visitor from Germany left to fly back home today. Gosh it was a long 6 weeks. The longest I have even traveled away from home was when I went to Germany for 3 months one summer to spend the time w/my Grandmother. It was thee best time ever!
My parents friend tho, was a great dissappointment. When I go travel someplace different, I want to see it all! She did not. They went to Vegas and Jackson Hole. That was is. She did not want to go anywhere. Makes me wonder if there was something amiss, perhaps she has mesothelioma. They could have seen the Arches, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone; there is so much to see so close by! It was pretty much a waste. I feel so bad for my Mom who had to entertain her for 6 weeks by going nowhere. My kiddo and I were lucky, we did not have to deal w/her. Pretty sad person she was.
