As we speak the kiddo is updating his Profile for the SAT test. Amazing. It has taken me almost a month of trying to get him to do this ! He is on the way now at last.
This stuff sure takes time tho . . . mostly my time, but it is a good thing. He is doing great in school and I hope he will continue. I am really lucky to have such a great kid. XO

The other day our very much loved Turtle Seaweed went to her new home. We had the cage all cleaned, she was bathed and fed and off she went! I am very glad she found a new home. We are getting too old here at our house to have a turtle anymore. Now all we have is two fish and three cats. sheesh !

I am slowly getting into the Holiday spirit. Today it snowed a few light and fluffy flurries, nothing stuck to the ground, but it was a start.
And we put our shoes by the door last night . . . and Saint Nicolas stopped by our house a couple days early and gave us a little something. No ray-ban sunglasses, but I did get some Pumpkin spice coffee and the kiddo got a Wii game. Hard to believe that even tho the kiddo is not a kid anymore (almost 17), he still wants Saint Nick to visit.

We got the house ready for Winter the other day. Even tho it seems like Summer was exceptionally short this year, I still do love Winter.

The Fire is ready to go, the Carpet layed down so that I can lounge on the floor and the house is even clean! We got the carpet really cheap at Ikea as the one last year was pretty ugly.
We are now ready for the Holidays too. I love having a Fire around this time of the year. Speaking of Holidays, today is Thanksgiving and we are headed out to the parents for dinner Yum ! I cannot fit into my nice clothing yet (I did loose 2 pounds so far this week tho!) so I think I will put on a nice lapel pin at least.

Well I have just been totally slackin’ when it comes to blogging these days. I did not know so much time has passed. The month of September is gone and October is here. and I just realized there are only 12 weeks left in the entire year-and I dont even want to think about Christmas!

Life these days is rather busy. Work is, well, cant mention it, and the rest of life is busy busy busy. The funny parts is when I think it over I really have not done much, but we are still so busy anyways! Makes no sense to me.

Perhaps I will need a few days off. Time to get back on track, perhaps shop for some winter gear, some polaris ranger parts and some shoes, always in the mood for new shoes!

In our small family of Two people, we have 2 LapTops, 1 Desktop and 1 iPad. Its not enough. Both Laptops are dead, the Desktop overheats after like 10 minutes; the iPad is the only one working! This is so frustrating. He kiddos HP Laptop is (hopefully) getting shipped back to HP for them to fix today. I really dislike HP. My Laptop is 4 years old and I think its just dead. But the sturdy Desktop should be okay. I love the Desktop. My Bro-in-Law made it and its always been wonderful. I think it needs to be cleaned out as we do have 3 Cats . . . . but anyways. The iPad is thee best. I am sticking with Apple from now! I am going to get me a graphic t shirts thats says HP Sucks! I have been researching more about them and I guess they might be going out of business soon. All the critics say HP is destroying the company on purpose. Which is sad, cuz they were the leading Laptop company but not anymore.
