Happy Easter to us all! I love Easter; its my second favorite holiday after the 4th of July! However this year, with the new Tile and all, we are kinda skipping Easter. Even tho my son is 15, we still decorate eggs and I hide them along w/a Easter Basket. No this year tho; no eggs, no basket, nada. It is kind of a bummer, but our house is still rather a mess and we just ran out of time! We still have so much to do around here.
Plus, it snowed last night. I also need to fix up the backyard; need to get out the outdoor décor clean up all those sticks you can see in the pic (I collect them for starter firewood), plant grass seed, gosh there is so much to do its no wonder we are skipping Easter this year. Oh ! We are going to my folks for dinner, so at least I get a nice dinner that I dont even have to cook – wee hee !

One Weigh at a Time Okay, I guess I should prob get back into this. Its just that I have found that I seem to do better and loose weight when I am all alone. This way I can only compair myself to myself; no excuses, no “oh I look okay”, no nothing! Only Me against Me.

But I do like the people in this group very very much, so I will try to stay involved *smile*
Update:
I am 4 pounds away from my Mini Goal and I am determined to reach that Mini Goal by the end of this month if it kills me ! ! !

One Weigh at a TimeWell, the past week was terrible. The kiddo got sick, the inversion lasted forever and I only lost .2 of a pound. However, I gained even that back plus some, yesterday. I think I am getting sick now and when I get sick I eat everything in site just to keep my energy level up. and thats what I did yesterday. but really, there is no one else to help me run the house so its either eat food and keep the household going, or sleep and let the house fall apart! With 3 Cats, 2 Gerbil, 2 Fish and 1 Turtle (and 1 kid of course) I cannot let the house fall apart!

Okay, I am getting off topic here. Clara’s question this week was: What is different about the way slim people think that keeps them slim?
When I was slim, I was pretty disgusted with all types of fattening, greasy, high calorie foods. I just had this mind set that it would almost, in a way, kill me. Now that I am 14 lbs heavier, I just dont seem to care much about what I eat. So my answer would be that slim people think about foods in a different way that others. But thats just me, and ya’all know that I am totally bizzaro ! !

ack. Week Three already. I say this every week; I need to get my butt in gear! This past week was a tad on the hard side. Too much Pizza (it was on sale at Costco!). Not an excuse *sigh* I know, but I love Pizza ! !

My results this week were: No Gain. No Loss.

I am happy that I did not gain, but I still need to loose those 10 lbs. I am on track this week (cuz I ate all the Pizza we had in the house last week!).
and I dont really have a Tip this week other than just for me to try and stay focused, and stay possitive, cuz when I am on track and doin’ it, I loose the weight!

Since it IS the New Year, I really need a New Body! and I am workin’ on it. Its just going slower than anticipated. pooh. I am determined to stick it out tho. According to One Weigh At A Time, I need to give a suggestion, or a weight loss tip. Of course my tip is “Dont eat any Meat” Its not like I am a vegetarian, its just whenever I eat meat I gain. Its that simple. For Me anyways!

I did okay last week, however . . . the weekend came and I gained a pound back after loosing two during the week! So my total loss is 1.2 pounds. My goal, is to loss 2 pounds a week.

I have this love/hate relationship w/the weekends; I love them, but then I eat too much when they arrive!
Ah well. A loss is A Loss!

One Weigh at a TimeI am rather behind this week, eek! We are back in the swing of school, work and home that I have no time to blog at night, plus – things are rather touchy here at work, so I have to be very careful. But enough excuses!!!

Taking it off Together Tuesday has changed to One Weigh at a Time and I am still on board. I am just starting over, heeheehee.
I will be brave and tell you-all that my goal is too loose 10 pounds. Right now I am at 155.4 and I want to reach 145. I can do this, I was there last summer (for about a month!) and I want to be there again. I know I can do it, I just HAVE to do it. End of Story.

ugh. Easier Said Than Done :)

Wow. This week really was terrible ! ! We went out to eat too much and of course, I just have to eat everything in front of me. But starting December 26th I will really get my butt back in gear. really. yes, I have to do it ! ! !
