…..but does the Cat want to venture outside yet……

This is the strangest thing. I swear our kitties are related. This is our Rosey. She is a polydactyl; one extra toe on each foot. Check out my friend Leigh’s blog. Pretty neat, huh?
I better explain this a little. The Cat is our lovable Rosey. She is on the two million pillows my son has in his bedroom. The creatures around Rosey, are Pokemon dolls and we all know what they are… right….!? They are from the Eevee Collection and are all cat related. My son loves Pokemon, so if anyone needs to know anything about Pokemon, just ask !
It’s a good thing my mother does not live here. She would be in an uproar. My house is a mess! I was cleaning up the other day, the usual basics; fireplace, dishes, vacuuming, laundry. I even did a little extra and cleaned the cubby hole where my dishwasher is supposed to be (we dont have a dishwasher, its me). I was re-arranging our baby food down there (Rosey cat loves the Gerber 2nd) and low and behold, one rolled right down into my heating duct. I dont have a cover on my heating vent in the kitchen cuz I need to re-size it due to the tile. So basicly, its just this big hole where the heat comes out.
Now I hear it rolling down… then stop. The duct must have turned a corner or something. How the heck do I get that thing outta there….? There is no way I am asking my dad one this one. I know its not broken, and the little jar is sealed tightly, but still, I wonder what will happen with the furnace on and off all winter…..
It is going to be a tad on the cold side this week. They say down to 9 degrees at night and only about 25 during the day. We keep our heat at home very low when no one is here; 52 degrees. I often worry about our Turtle and Cat. The Turtle, not so much as she had a heat lamp, but our Cat, I worry a little more. When we got home today the temp was 52 in the house so I know it was cold as the heat did kick on a bit. I might be a little too worried about the care for pets. I know our kitty is happy, but we do have a few cats in the neighborhood that are outside every day. They are very fluffy in winter, so I should not worry, but I still do.
Anyways, our cat Rosey, is fine. She sleeps in my sons bedroom, which is the warmest room in the house, and she sleeps either on his feather bed, under the feather bed or on his Love Sack. And she always greets us at the door when we come home. We are a lucky family.
XO
