eGads I am so glad it is Friday. I am utterly exhausted. This week has been a hard one. As of today, I have gained .3 of a pound. Not too bad, but I really need to go the other way ! I might have to try out some diet pills that work as this week not much of anything is working. I still have Two Days before the end of my WW week, so I will have to try my best and get down at least just a little bit.

Dont know exactly where ‘here’ is, but it is someplace in Utah. We just got this killer storm, feet of snow, and I am leaving work early to Shovel. I love to shovel! Shoveled for 2 years when I worked up at the Ski Resort. So one day, I just might be rich enough to find a house in the woods where I can retire.

OMG. This is the wall in my Sons bedroom. It is falling apart! Since we live in such a dry state, I have not been worried about this wall for a few years now – but I have kept an Eye on it. Well, the other day it rained; we dont get much Rain around here, but this time it was a bugger and the wall finally fell apart.

So I climbed on the roof in about 2 feet of snow (as the rain turned to snow) and shoveled off all the snow. Came down soaking wet. Not Fun. A few days later the snow melted, went back up on the roof, this time w/my Dad and gooooped some roofing goop up there. I will now wait till summer and then re-do everything. I hope dehumidifiers might keep the moisture out of the room till then. But the roof has to be fixed, the drywall removed inside and I can only dream of what else. I guess this summer I will learn to be a carpenter and roofer. ugh.

Today is my first day of my vacation. I am not going anywhere, but I am off work for the entire week! I have been so tired, that I took my first nap today. I like naps. Even tho it was a short one, 45 minutes, I feel much better.
The snow has melted enough outside so that I could rake some leaves. So I got my butt off the couch, turned open the door knob and got outside to work. But I decided to rake only half the yard today. I figure since I have the whole week off I dont need to push it! Tomorrow we might drive down to Cabela’s and check out their Air Soft guns; the kiddo wants one for Christmas . . . we will see. I am thinkin’ he might be ready to drive on the freeway . . . Sundays around here dont have much traffic . . . .

Thanksgiving finally arrived and so did Winter! I do love the Snow! However along with the snow came very cold temps. This morning it was around 8 degrees I do believe. and just it time for those Black Friday shoppers; So Funny! I have never been shopping on the day after Thanksgiving and I dont plan on starting now. Actually I have to work all day, ah well.

Our Cat came briefly out side with me when I was shoveling, but he went right back in; the wimp, heeheehee.

I dont like being fat. It is very uncomfortable and thus, I get grumpy. and I have been grumpy lately, according to my son. So today I started over again, and am determined to get down to a healthy weight. I jointed our ‘Project 0′ at work w/a friend for the holidays and I cant let her down. If I maintain or loose weight in the next six weeks I win a small prize. But its the end of the year and I cannot end it like this, so I am ready to loose some weight before 2011. I usually do good during the holidays cuz I see all the other people eating like Pigs so I freak out and do the total opposite!
So here I go; This time it is going to work ! ! ! !

In my quest to slow down and smell the Roses, sorta speak, this summer we fixed the yard up a little so that I could sit and rest a bit.
The grass is dying now and the flowers just about finished, but it is still a nice place for me to sit outside.

Now all I have to do is wait for the snow; I am sure I will use the bench a lot this winter as long as there is snow to sit and play in, I am there !

I have forgotten just how nice it is to have a day off. Since I have been loosing my mind at work, the boss suggested I take today off. It was a good suggestion. The weather is really making my day perfect. I love it when the stormy weather comes in; bringing rain and if we are lucky, snow in the high mountains. This type of stress relief is the best acne treatments that really work. I have no stress today, no worries, just enjoying my day off. I have a stew in the slow cooker, just brewed a cup of tea and am now ready to relax and watch some local TV. Ah, what a nice day ! I love it ! !
